WASHINGTON, D.C.: It seems that, of late, each day brings some new revelation of an ominous activity in this country in which the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and/or Chinese nationals are implicated. If these proverbial “dots” are connected, one readily discerns a pattern of behavior that suggests the CCP is preparing for kinetic operations inside the United States.

The following are among what should be regarded as “warnings and indicators” of possibly imminent hostilities – presumably to be initiated together with military aggression elsewhere, notably in the Western Pacific, but possibly in many other places, as well:

• Evidence of the presence inside the United States of perhaps as many as 200,000 Chinese People’s Liberation Army personnel;

• A narrowly averted Chinese attack on telecommunications networks in New York City, evidence of the emplacement of the capabilities to engage in similar attacks elsewhere;

• Dangerous agricultural pathogens imported by University of Michigan students from China;

• Chinese state involvement in murderous chemical warfare involving the production and dissemination of fentanyl, crystal meth and other drugs killing tens of thousands of military-age Americans each year;

• Chinese nationals driving 16-wheelers all over America, with some reportedly caught moving units of PLA personnel;

• CCP ties to and support for Antifa/BLM, jihadist and globalist operatives of the Red-Green-Blue axis;

• Preparations for biological warfare here, including the likelihood that covert laboratories similar to the one providentially discovered in Reedley, California in 2023 exist elsewhere in this country;

• Acquisition of large quantities of farmland adjacent to or within striking distance of military, transportation, communications and other high-value targets;

• Chinese nationals probing defense installations;

• Drones/surveillance balloons overflying defense facilities, flight-lines, naval bases and other sensitive areas;

• Stealthy marijuana grow-houses operating across the country, providing cover for problematic Chinese nationals and/or money-laundering operations;

• “Overseas Chinese Police Service Centers” tasked with weaponizing Chinese students and other Chinese nationals, including Americans of Chinese descent with family in the PRC;

• Intensifying bot operations, weaponized TikTok (both for data aggregation and brainwashing) and other cyber/information warfare operations;

• Chinese penetration/subversion of U.S. election systems;

• Confucius Institutes (some rebranded) on university campuses influencing and recruiting young Americans, surveilling Chinese students;

• United Front Work Department influence operations in U.S. cities, including those run by consulates in San Francisco and Boston; and

• China’s “captured elite” American politicians flying the Chinese flag over American city halls.

The Department of War is expected shortly to release a new National Defense Strategy. It will reportedly downplay the threat from Communist China and call for restraint in responding to it. At the moment, how – if at all – the document will treat the CCP contribution to the “enemy within” problem remains to be seen. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth’s comment to the military leadership last week that there will be “no rear areas” in the next war, however, suggests that he, at least, understands the perils associated with that prospect. Hopefully, such an appreciation will be conveyed in the new Defense Strategy – as well as a considerably heightened and robust response, both here and abroad, to the Chinese Communists’ unflagging determination to destroy this country.
